Deadlock releases Graves as its second voted-in character in Old Gods, New Blood

Graves is the latest character voted by the players to join Deadlock's active roster, bringing area-restricting necromancy to the playing field.

Another character has entered the mean streets of Deadlock’s supernatural Hell’s Kitchen. This time it was Graves who entered the fray as the game's newest playable character. You can wield her crowd control and necromancy in the game now.

Steam released Graves into Deadlock once all of the votes were tallied today. The second character to be voted into play of six characters that have been revealed in the Old Gods, New Blood update, she’s described as with the keywords, “MORBID, AREA DENIAL, NECROMANCER,” and her abilities speak to that style, constricting the play so she and her allies can cut off foes to ambush them or make a getaway. She also has a very Wednesday Addams vibe that will be fun to see other characters in the game interact with.

Graves and Rem are now unlocked in Deadlock's Old Gods, New Blood update, with more unlocks coming next week.

Graves follows behind the diminutive and sleepy little Rem, who won the first vote and was released earlier this week. While many of the characters have had strong followings, Rem was a surprising first entry, and it’s also a bit surprising to see Silver or Venator didn’t make it in either, especially with the latter having popular voice lines related to Rem and the former being a cool werewolf.

With Rem and Graves in the game, that covers this week’s character releases. Stay tuned to Mondays and Thursdays around this time for the next character and make sure you know how to vote if you want to help decide the next Deadlock character.
