Black Panther and Hulk revealed for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls
Shuri dons the Black Panther mantle and the Gamma Ray-powered Bruce Banner gets savage to round out the Avengers in Marvel Tokon.
by TJ Denzer · ShacknewsEVO Japan 2026 Day 3 kicked off with a heck of an announcement as Arc System Works, Marvel Games, and PlayStation took the mic to announce the latest news for Marvel Tokon. The Incredible Hulk in his Savage Lands form and Shuri under the Black Panther moniker are coming to the game, rounding out another team in the 4v4 fighter.
Hulk and Panther were revealed on early on Day 3 of EVO Japan 2026 in a special trailer. They join Iron Man and Captain America to round out the Avengers, with Hulk bringing brutish strength and Panther bringing blinding speed to the team, rounding out Iron Man’s technical gadgetry and Cap’s all-around balance. Shuri taking the role of Panther was a wild surprise, and we even got to see a new Wakanda stage that looks equally phenomenal.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is currently slated to launch in August 2026, and Arc System Works and Marvel Games are now putting all of their cards in on the table, showing teams one by one until we have the rounded out roster. Previously, the X-Men team was shown, led by Storm and including Wolverine, Magik, and Danger. After that came Spider-Man’s team, the Amazing Guardians, which include Peni Parker, Starlord, and Ms. Marvel.
With another team revealed, we’ll be looking forward to seeing who joins the last two on the way to August. Pre-orders are also available. Stay tuned to the Marvel Tokon topic for more updates and news.
