Campus Shluchim and Shluchos gathered on short notice for a webinar hosted by Chabad on Campus International of Torah, Tefillah, Tzedaka and chizuk following the tragic attack in Sydney.

The program was held on the same day of the attack and included words of Torah from Rabbi Yossy Gordon, CEO of Chabad on Campus International, Tehillim led by Rabbi Yossi Lazaroff, Chabad at Texas A&M, whose son was injured in the attack (Yehuda Leib Ben Manya), and divrei chizuk from Rabbi Yitzchok Schochet.

Rabbi Gordon emphasized the responsibility of Shluchim and Shluchos to provide strength and leadership during painful moments, while Rabbi Schochet spoke about Chanukah’s enduring message of courage and visibility, reminding them that “the Jewish answer has always been the same: we add light.”

The gathering concluded with tzedakah and continued tefillah for the victims, the injured, and the Jewish community in Sydney.
