- Fans are theorizing that the characters could travel back in time to save the world.
Attention everyone who has watched Volume 1 of Stranger Things Season 5: there's a pretty mind-blowing theory floating around Reddit.
While the majority of these first four episodes were action packed, the Duffer brothers made sure to feature one very specific scene of everyone's favorite Hawkins teacher, Mr. Clarke. Specifically, a scene where he's describing a wormhole and says "Just think of all the places mankind could go—another galaxy, another time even. So why aren't we doing it now? If wormholes did exist, they would be extraordinarily unstable. Their enormous gravitational force would rip them apart at the very moment they formed."
Multiple fans noticed that Mr. Clarke's drawing of a wormhole is similar to the drawing Will makes of his vision—leading to the question....is Vecna using kids to create a massive wormhole and somehow breach time and space? Or, is the Upside Down already part of a wormhole (an "extraordinarily unstable one" at that)?
There are a lot of unknowns, but I'm personally caught up on Mr. Clarke saying "Just think of all the places mankind could go—another galaxy, another time even." As this commenter on Reddit put it, time travel seems inevitable!
