Everything We Know About ‘Heartstopper’ Season 4

So is season 4 of Heartstopper happening?

The show might be called Heartstopper, but our hearts are still beating really fast after that emotional season that brought all our favorite couples to the next level. And with Charlie and Nick's story slowly coming to an end in the comics, then we know that it's almost time to say goodbye to one of our favorite and most heartfelt series. But that doesn't mean that it'll be ending any time soon...right, Netflix?! Well, fans are wondering if there's more of the story left after the finale.

Here's everything we know about Heartstopper season 4.

Netflix hasn't made any official announcements about it, but there is more to Charlie and Nick's story to tell. In fact, creator Alice Oseman is working on it right now, telling The Guardian, "I am. I’m only 50 pages in, but I know what’s going to happen, what all the dialogue is going to be, and now I’m just sitting down and drawing it, which is my favourite bit."

The final bit will be the sixth and final volume of the story, so there's only the finale left. So it should be a no brainer for Netflix to bring it back for the end, right? Well, here's hoping they do!

What would season 4 of Heartstopper be about?

Well, considering the fact that Alice is still working on the story, we don't know the exact details about will happen to Nick and Charlie. However, the one thing that we do know is that it will also include some other stories that fans are already familiar with.

"If we get a fourth season of the show, it will use volume 6 of Heartstopper and the Nick and Charlie novella as the source material," Alice wrote in her Patreon. "I am very much hoping that there will be a fourth season, so the show gets to have a proper ending! I'm praying to the gods! Begging on my knees! Having nightmares about it regularly, etc!"

When will we find out if season 4 is happening?

Netflix loves to give shows a few weeks to see how well it does. Hopefully, it won't take them too long to make a decision as we are holding our breath over any news they can share. So make sure to tell all your friends to watch so it has a better chance to come back!
