Hits keep coming as Rams lose Myles Garrett for at least four games after looming knee surgery
by Armando Salguero · Fox NewsThe Los Angeles Rams had a great offseason but the start of the regular season has been a disaster and Myles Garrett needing knee surgery is perhaps the worst part of that.
The Rams will be placing their signature offseason acquisition and 2025 Defensive Player of the Year on injured reserve, a source confirmed to OutKick.
That means Garrett, who missed considerable practice time during training camp because of a troublesome knee situation, will miss a minimum of four games.

'WE BACK': AARON DONALD RETURNS TO THE RAMS AND A DEFENSE NOW LOADED WITH MYLES GARRETT AND OTHERS
Garrett will miss games against the New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, and Buffalo Bills.
He could actually miss more games, depending on his recovery and the success of the upcoming surgery.
The good news is the surgery is scheduled as an arthroscopy initially meant to perform a trim rather than a full-blown repair. If that initial expectation based on MRI scans holds, the four-week timetable should be an accurate expectation.
The Rams, the Super Bowl favorite among many pundits before the season began, lost their Week 1 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
They did not have Aaron Donald for that game as his ramp-up period after returning from a two-year retirement was not considered complete and the team wanted to be cautious.
That caution will remain but the Rams obviously need Donald sooner than later now that they will be without Garrett for a while.
