Adare households issued with free Ryder Cup tickets

Ryder Cup Europe has confirmed to RTÉ that each household in Adare has received two complimentary passes to the 2027 Ryder Cup, and that residents can attend the tournament on a day of their choosing.

Next year's Ryder Cup takes place at Adare Manor from Friday, 17 September to Sunday, 19 September, with Europe bidding to win the biennial event for a third consecutive time under captain Luke Donald.

Ryder Cup tickets made exclusively available to Irish fans, priced at €499 each, sold out in under an hour last Friday, while practice day (€89) and weekly tickets (€1,999) sold out in under four hours.

Over 150,000 people had pre-registered for early access.

Those unsuccessful will have a second chance in the full public ballot, which opens on Wednesday, 3 June.
