Disgraced ex-University of Michigan coach Sherrone Moore had ‘long history’ of abusing mistress, her lawyer alleges
· New York PostDisgraced ex-University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore allegedly had a “long history of domestic violence” against his mistress, the woman’s lawyer claimed.
Moore, 39, was arrested after he allegedly barged into the Ann Arbor home of his lover and executive assistant, Paige Shiver, soon after she reported their secret two-year tryst to the school on Dec. 10 — resulting in his firing.
The allegations of domestic violence were laid bare in court last week after Moore — a married father of three — was slapped with charges over the sordid saga.
Shiver’s attorney, Heidi Sharp, made the claims when she frantically called 911 on behalf of her client, court transcripts show.
The lawyer said her client phoned her as soon as Moore allegedly broke in and started threatening to kill himself following his downfall, according to the records.
Sharp told dispatchers that “Moore had a long history of domestic violence against” the alleged victim and “that he was very dangerous.”
The court records don’t provide any additional detail on the prior domestic violence allegations.
Moore and the alleged victim had an affair for a number of years before she called it quits, the court heard.

For two days, the embattled coach allegedly bombarded his ex-mistress with calls and texts.
Ultimately, she informed the school of the alleged affair and Moore was let go for what was described as an “inappropriate relationship” with a staffer, the court heard.
Shortly after being axed, Moore allegedly stormed the woman’s apartment, grabbed butter knives and kitchen scissors and threatened to take his own life.
“I’m going to kill myself. I’m going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You’ve ruined my life,” he is alleged to have screamed.
Shiver’s lawyer told investigators that the alleged victim had only returned home briefly to grab some belongings because she intended to leave town.
Moore was charged with three crimes, including felony home invasion and stalking in the wake of the ordeal.
