Hurry: Nintendo games are heavily discounted during Amazon Gaming Week
· New York PostWith Amazon Gaming Week in full swing, there are a bunch of great gaming deals to take advantage of right now. And if you’re a Nintendo Switch owner, Gaming Week is one of the best times to take advantage of deals on high-priced Nintendo Switch games.
Everyone knows a good Switch game can cost $70 or even higher in some cases, but right now you can score some titles for as low as $15. Check out the best Nintendo Switch game deals below. FYI, if you’re a Nintendo Switch 2 console owner, most physical cartridges from the original Switch will work on it too, as the console features backward compatibility.
Stray – Nintendo Switch
This one was a long-anticipated title. You play as a stray cat exploring the dark alleyways of a decaying cybercity. It’s one of the best adventure games out there, and a personal favorite of our Senior Manager of Growth, Adam Schubini. “Stray is a slow burn (seemingly) cozy game that allows players to learn the fate of humanity in a world ruled by robots through puzzles and purrs,” he says. “I had so much fun with this one just exploring the environment and making mischief as the titular stray.” Right now it’s at its lowest price in 30 days.
Bluey: The Videogame
This cooperative game re-creates iconic moments form the TV series so kids can relive their favorite memories. There are four interactive adventures it embark on, perfect for family-friendly fun.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy
The iconic Grand Theft Auto Trilogy is now available on the Nintendo Switch. All three stories, including “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas,” are playable on console, putting you front and center of the criminal world and the topsy-turvy storyline. As someone who has played this game on the Xbox, I was delighted to replay the story in all its glory on the switch.
Star Wars: Heritage Pack
Whether you’re Sith or Jedi, this seven-game pack includes all the classic role-playing games, including one of the latest, a personal favorite “STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed .” Get ready for hours of fun with this pack, with customers saying it’s a “great deal” for the price.
Monster Jam Showdown
I love playing arcade games on my Nintendo Switch, and this is one of the best and most exhilarating. Race across three different environments, and try your hand at the career mode or free-form modes, too.
LEGO 2K Drive
Another racing game, Lego 2K Drive, takes you on an adventure through an exciting story mode and multiple mini games to keep you occupied for hours on end. Race for the trophy and build your creative LEGO vehicles bit by bit to make your dream ride.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows
In “Assassin’s Creed,” you play as a samurai utilizing stealth and skill to make your way across feuding Japan. “I have loved every AC game I’ve played so far and Shadows is no different.” says Schubini. “The new setting in Japan was an easy sell for me and it’s been an action-packed ride so far that I’m trying to take my time with.” Gamers will love this open-world game if they’re looking for an RPG-style adventure that combines tactics and combat.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed
Patrol the streets as your favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, battling enemies as you cross five boroughs. You can even opt for two-player local co-op and have a friend join in the fun.
DOG MAN: Mission Impawsible
This action game comes with 50 playable levels, but where it really shines is its funny, relatable dialogue that will have you giggling on the couch for hours on end. If you’re looking for a chill action game that delights kids, this is it.
