Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias ‘floating on air’ after birth of fourth child
· New York PostIt’s been a holiday season to remember for new parents-of-four Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias.
Days after the longtime couple announced the birth of their fourth child, a source told People on Friday that the former tennis star, 44, and singer, 50, are “floating on air” after welcoming the newest member of their family.
“Anna and Enrique love family life and will spend the holidays with their family, which varies in size depending on who is around,” the insider shared. “It will be busy and chaotic as always, only a bit more so, but all with joy and love.”
Kournikova and Iglesias revealed Monday in an Instagram post that their youngest bundle of joy arrived on Dec. 17. They did not provide details on the baby’s name or sex.
The infant joins 8-year-old twins Lucy and Nicholas and 5-year-old Mary, all of whom posed together for a new photo Saturday.
“My sunshines,” Kournikova captioned the post.
News of Kournikova’s pregnancy broke over the summer, with Spanish outlet Hola reporting in August how she was halfway through.
Kournikova has been with Iglesias since 2001 — two years before she retired from tennis.
Once ranked as high as No. 8 in women’s singles, Kournikova reached the Wimbledon semifinal in 1997 and the quarterfinal of the Australian Open in 2001. She advanced as far as the fourth round in the French Open and U.S. Open during her career.
Kournikova found Grand Slam success in doubles, winning the Australian Open alongside Martina Hingis in 1999 and 2002.
She has kept a lower profile in recent years, with a focus on her family with Iglesias.
“They enjoy the activities and all that goes along with raising children,” a source previously told People.
