Marlins’ Griffin Conine among top fantasy waiver wire bats to add for playoff push

Whether a player had a great first half or struggled mightily, the All-Star break was a chance to recharge so they have an opportunity to expand on their strong start or turn their season around.

Some hitters have been scorching hot since the second half started and, luckily for fantasy managers, many are sitting on the waiver wires.

Miami’s Griffin Conine played just 11 games before suffering a left hamstring tear on April 9. The injury derailed his solid start and forced him to miss more than 10 weeks.

In his first 44 games since coming off the injured list, Conine hit .280 with 11 homers, 23 RBIs, 20 runs and a .943 OPS. The Marlins outfielder has also hit .293 with eight homers, 15 RBIs, 13 runs and a 1.024 OPS in his first 25 games since the Midsummer Classic.
