All the hubbub over a wasted Jets opportunity speaks to a bigger picture

Eleven minutes and change remained in the Jets home opener Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

The Jets had taken a 17-7 lead. They were better than the Packers, a perennial playoff team, and it looked like they were en route to winning the game, about to start the season 2-0 for the first time in 11 years.
