No. 7 Texas A&M vs. No. 10 Miami: How to watch CFP Round 1 for free

· New York Post

Round one of the 2025 College Football Playoff continues today, Dec. 20, after the Alabama Crimson Tide rallied past the Oklahoma Sooners to become the first team to advance last night.

Today’s first game will feature the CFP debut of both the Miami Hurricanes and the Texas A&M Aggies. Both teams are going into today’s game with significant title droughts; the Hurricanes last won in 2001, while the Aggies haven’t won a national title since 1939.

The Hurricanes secured their spot in this year’s playoff over Notre Dame, thanks to their season opening 27-24 win over the Fighting Irish. They’d go on to win 10 games in the regular season, dropping two.

At 11-1, the Aggies had their perfect season spoiled in the final game of the regular season with a 27-17 loss to rival Texas.
