No. 11 Tulane vs. No. 6 Ole Miss: How to watch CFP Round 1 for free
· New York PostIt’s week four of the 2025 NCAA season all over again for Tulane and Ole Miss.
Way back on Sept. 20, Trinidad Chambliss’ Rebels and Jake Retzlaff’s Green Wave met at Ole Miss’ Vaught Hemingway Stadium. The showdown ended up being a laugher, resulting in a 45-10 win for the home team.
Since then, Tulane lost just one more game over the course of the season and even scored an impressive win over No. 25 North Texas in the American Conference Championship to clinch a spot in the College Football Playoff.
Still, the Green Wave haven’t forgotten what happened in September.
“Last time we played rotten. And they played good, and they are a really good team,” said head coach Jon Sumrall, who is heading to the University of Florida full-time after the postseason.
“There’s a reason they’re in the position they’re in playing in that league with that record. They’re a big-time team. I want to see us play a better version of Tulane football.”
