Swansea's wild celebrations as Wrexham last second howler crushes Ryan Reynolds' side
by Kieran Horn · Wales OnlineSwansea City secured the Welsh bragging rights over Wrexham with a comeback victory at the Swansea.com Stadium on Friday evening. A Cameron Burgess own goal put Phil Parkinson's side in front, but fortuitous second-half strikes from Zan Vipotnik and Adam Idah secured the points to send the home fans into raptures.
The visitors went ahead 14 minutes into the first half as Burgess headed Ryan Longman's cross into his own net. Swansea dominated the remainder of the half but could not find a way through until a slice of luck of their own arrived 20 minutes from time.
Vipotnik broke free in the box and got his shot away with a Dominic Hyam touch wrong-footing Arthur Okonkwo which allowed the ball to trickle into the bottom corner.
The hosts pushed for a winner and that arrived just as seven minutes of additional time were announced as Okonkwo fumbled an easy catch after punching a free-kick clear with Adam Idah benefitting as he tapped home the winner from just a few yards out.
