Mike Tyson is set to return to the professional boxing ring for the first time in nearly two decades, facing off against YouTube sensation Jake Paul. Tyson's last professional fight was in 2000 against Kevin McBride, where he retired after five rounds.

He later participated in an exhibition match with fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr in 2020, which ended in a draw after eight uneventful rounds. Paul, who knocked out NBA star Nate Robinson on the same card, has since embarked on his own boxing career, winning 10 of his 11 fights so far.

This week, he will step into the ring at the AT&T Stadium in front of up to 80,000 spectators for one of the most contentious fights in boxing history. Here's everything you need to know... When is Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul and what is the UK start time?

The anticipated bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is expected to commence around 4am UK time this coming Saturday, equating to approximately 10pm local time on Friday in Dallas, Texas.

The main card, consisting of four fights, will begin at 7pm local time, or 1am in the UK. The main event could start earlier or later than scheduled, depending on the duration of the preceding three main card fights, reports the Mirror.

How to watch Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul via TV and live stream.

The much-anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will be streamed live on Netflix, marking the streaming giant's first foray into live combat sports.

If you have a Netflix subscription, then you can watch Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson at no extra cost. Monthly subscription plans start from £4.99, which includes adverts, and rise to £17.99 for the Ultra HD service.

The bout, which many boxing fans never thought they would see, is set to take place on Friday over eight two-minute rounds with both fighters wearing 14oz gloves.

Who is on the Tyson v Paul undercard?

Also on the card is a rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, two years after their thrilling first encounter at Madison Square Garden. In addition, professional fighter Neeraj Goyat will face social media star Whindersson Nunes in what promises to be an interesting clash.

The fight card also includes a match between Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos.

The WBC welterweight title is up for grabs in the second world title fight on the card. Barrios has been promoted to 'full champion' due to uncertainty over whether Terence Crawford will stay at the weight to defend his belt.

Ramos, who has only won one of his last three fights, is expected to be the underdog.

Shadasia Green, a member of Jake Paul's team, is set to compete for a world title for the second time this year. Despite falling short against Franchon Crews Dezurn, she bounced back with a victory over Natasha Spence - the same opponent Melinda Watpool defeated in her most recent match.

Lucas Bahdi made a name for himself by stunningly knocking out Ashton Sylve in a comeback victory. He was scheduled to face Corey Marksman on Friday night, but Marksman had to withdraw due to injury and was replaced by Armando Casamonica, who has won all 14 of his fights.

Featherweight Bruce Carrington is aiming to steal the limelight as he continues his journey towards success. Having knocked out eight of his 13 opponents, he should prove too strong for Dana Coolwell, who has lost two of his 15 fights - both losses were against undefeated opponents.

What Tyson and Paul have said

Mike Tyson expressed his views on age with a striking statement: "You don't know how old you are. Somebody told you how old you are. Julius Caesar had a big ego, he wanted an extra month so he said 'I'm going to create July'. So really, how old are you? These people are creating months and years to make people a certain particular age, you don't really know how old you are. I don't know how old I am. People design their own calendar, so we don't know how old we are. We know what people tell us how old we are. We know what people tell us what age we should be retired by this age. That's what they tell us! Our man's biggest downfall is to believe we have limitations and that's what we do, we believe we're a certain amount of age."

Meanwhile, Jake Paul divulged details about his tough training regime ahead of an upcoming bout, stating: "It's been going amazing. Intense camp. I'm sparring 300lb guys back-to-back. So my body is aching, my bones are sore. They punch a lot harder and just wrestling with them in the ring and sparring is very difficult, but on November 15 I'm going to be prepared. We've trained hard to make the fight easy."
