by Jason Anderson · The Fresno BeeDoug Christie will take over as interim coach when the Sacramento Kings visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday at Crypto.com Arena.
The Kings will try to snap a five-game losing streak a day after firing coach Mike Brown, who was relieved of his duties following practice Friday as the Kings prepared for their flight to Los Angeles.

The Lakers (17-13) are fifth in the West, 2 ½ games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the No. 4 seed. The Lakers have won four of their last five games, including a thrilling 115-113 win over the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day.
