Shailene Woodley Shares Moment With Aaron Rodgers' Ex Olivia Munn at Emmys

Shailene Woodley was seen sharing a moment with Olivia Munn - a fellow ex of Aaron Rodgers - at the 2026 Emmy Awards.

Us was in attendance on TV's biggest night on Monday, September 14, where Woodley, 34, was seen deep in conversation with Munn, 46. At one point, Munn held Woodley's hand as the latter shook her head at something they were discussing.

Munn originally met Rodgers, 42, in 2014 at the 49th Academy of Country Music Awards. They dated for three years until their split in 2017.

Throughout their relationship, Munn was often blamed for Rodgers' estrangement from his family, which they both denied.

"I met one brother, the one who was on The Bachelorette, Jordan. I was friendly with Jordan," she said during a 2018 appearance on Sirius XM's Andy Cohen Live. "I met the parents only a couple times, and before he and I started dating, he hadn't spoken to the parents and one brother for, like, eight months."

Munn recalled encouraging Rodgers to try to reconnect with his parents.

"I just think it's really important to try to mend things in a family, and I encourage that … I do believe that family and fame and success can be really complicated if their dreams are connected to your success," she continued. "His father played football and is a sports chiropractor … They're all in sports, and Aaron is one of the best, if not the best, quarterback to ever play the game. Their work has a direct connection to what he does."

Munn has since found love with husband John Mulaney, with whom she shares two kids. Rodgers, for his part, moved on with Danica Patrick from 2017 to 2020.

The NFL quarterback later sparked a whirlwind romance with Woodley, confirming in 2021 that they were engaged. One year later, Us confirmed that the duo called it quits.

Days before the Emmys, Rodgers opened up about his past relationships on the Thursday, September 10, episode of the "Not Just Football" podcast.

"The height of their fame is when they were with me," Rodgers, who is now married to wife Brittani, said of Woodley. "They get clicks when they say my name. Just like the idiots on TV get clicks when they say my name because I am a lightning rod."

He continued: "I dated Shailene. I propose and she says yes. Maybe she felt like she was forced to make a decision. She could have said no. But a couple days after that, she tells me, ‘You know, before we get married, I gotta go f*** this guy.'"

Woodley laughed off the comments when TMZ asked for her reaction outside of a West Hollywood pre-Emmys fundraiser on Sunday, September 13. She previously discussed weathering the heartbreak of a broken engagement and how it played a role in her work.

"I fell in love over and over with unavailability. I'm very open as a human," she told Bustle in October 2024. "I love easy and I care easy, but I do not love lightly, and I do not care lightly."

Woodley reflected on her personal life further, adding, "It's really taken me a lot of time to understand that it's not on me to fix or heal or do anything about [a relationship] other than protect the deep care and love that I have for the world and for my people. Ultimately, that has helped me walk away without the need to understand why certain things didn't play out the way that I may have desired them to."
