When is DBD Chaos Shuffle back next?
With fun game modes and more limited-time modes in rotation, players are dying to know when Chaos Shuffle is coming back to Dead by Daylight.
by Danielle Rose · PCGamesNWhen is Chaos Shuffle back in DBD? While our vanilla live-service games still have us coming back time and again, there’s nothing like a good limited-time modifier to stop things getting stale. When it comes to Dead by Daylight, one of the best modes for shaking things up is Chaos Shuffle, which places you into each match with a loadout of completely random perks.
Dead by Daylight perks are among the best things to give you the edge in the multiplayer game, and choosing just the rights ones – whether you play as a DBD killer or survivor – can turn the game around. Some perks have great synergy with others, some help you survive or kill, and others can improve or impede teamwork. It’s usually essential that you plan your perfect loadout, so going into a match with completely random perks can have a devastating impact. That’s what Chaos Shuffle is all about, and we can’t wait for it to return.
DBD Chaos Shuffle dates
The Dead by Daylight Chaos Shuffle mode returns on Thursday, January 16, 2025 and ends on Tuesday, January 28 with a new Dragons and Dungeons twist, new rewards, and other changes.
The first DBD Chaos Shuffle of 2025 features a crossover with Dungeons and Dragons. The modifier itself has a D&D theme, and there’s a new bundle of Dungeons and Dragons shop cosmetics arriving alongside the mode. In addition to this, the free rewards available from the Event Tome are also based on the TTRPG.
In another change to the mode, players now see a perk reveal animation at the start of every match to better alert you to your random perk loadout. We don’t yet know what this will look like, and you’ll still have to head to the menus to see what each perk does, but this should still make it easier to set your game plan.
DBD Chaos Shuffle rewards
These are the next Chaos Shuffle cosmetic rewards available in the game modifier:
- Dragon charm
- Dragon badge
- Dragon banner
These are the only rewards we know of so far, but all we really care about is that cute charm. We would die for him. More rewards, including Bloodpoints, will be available from event challenges.
That’s everything we know about the next Dead by Daylight Chaos Shuffle release so far, but we’ll update you as soon as more information becomes available. In the meantime, check out the upcoming Junji Ito DBD cosmetics arriving in the horror game, and make sure you’ve redeemed the latest DBD codes and DBD Twitch drops for ever more free in-game items.
