Taking a closer look at the size of the Silksong map, most players will get lost occasionally, making it difficult to determine exactly how long the journey in the Metroidvania game will last. As a result, your final completion time depends on how good you are at the game and how much time you spend combing through every path. Having cleared Hollow Knight Silksong, we can offer up our benchmark for completion.
Hollow Knight Silksong length
Hollow Knight Silksong takes 40-45 hours to beat, though a completionist playthrough will take up to 60 hours.
Aaron completed Silksong in its entirety in 43 hours, though a few hours of this time was spent idling while adding to our vast Silksong guides library. As you can see, there's still a good chunk of optional content to vacuum up for 100%, though this should only take a further ten hours at most.
Aaron reached the credits for the first Silksong ending, found at the end of Act 2, at the 28 hour-mark. Most should reach this point around 25-30 hours in.

How many acts are in Silksong?
Hollow Knight Silksong has three acts. While you achieve the game's first ending at the end of Act 2, Silksong Act 3 can be accessed once certain prerequisites are met. On average, you're looking at around 15 hours of playtime per act.
