Mason Greenwood has been exceptional for Marseille, and top clubs are looking to sign him in the summer.

According to a report from Hooligan Soccer, Marseille could demand up to £72 million for the English attacker. Manchester United included a sell-on clause in his deal when they sanctioned his departure, and they will pocket around 50% of any potential fee recouped by the French outfit this summer.

PSG is very interested in signing the 25-year-old attacker and is looking to replace Goncalo Ramos in the summer.

It will be interesting to see whether PSG is willing to pay £73 million to sign Greenwood. There is no doubt he has impressed in French football, and he has the quality to compete at a higher level.

He could be a very useful player for them in the attack. He can operate on the flanks as well as centrally. He will add goals and creativity to the team. Greenwood has 25 goals and 10 assists this season.

The opportunity to join PSG will be exciting for the attacker as well. He will look to prove himself at the highest level. PSG won the league title last season and the UEFA Champions League as well. They have made it to the UEFA Champions League semifinals this time as well. He will want to win major trophies with them in the coming season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United stand to benefit from his departure due to the ingenious inclusion of a sell-on clause in his deal, by Dan Ashworth.

They need to improve multiple areas this summer, and the proceeds from Greenwood’s departure could prove invaluable.
