Following a scoreless first period, Saskatoon’s Rowan Calvert broke the seal with a goal just over four minutes into the second period.
From there, the two teams exchanged goals, with the Tigers always tying after the Blades took the lead, including midway through the third period when Medicine Hat scored to tie the game at three and eventually force overtime.
