Snow has arrived in time for holiday events already in full swing, with more starting this weekend. Explore annual festivities with the whole family, and check out some local arts events while you’re out enjoying the season.

1 — Let the Festival of Trees enchant

The annual Festival of Trees kicks off the holiday season this weekend. Explore displays of decorated trees, wreaths, centrepieces and gingerbread houses. Get photos with Santa and enjoy a story time, face painting, character meet and greets, and special events that include the new Fa-la-la-la-la festival feast. The festival open Friday and runs daily to Nov. 30, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., in 1910 Boom Town at the Western Development Museum. Proceeds support the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.
