ABC cancels 'Bachelorette' Season 22 over Taylor Frankie Paul video
by Fred Topel · UPIMarch 19 (UPI) -- Disney Entertainment Television announced Thursday that it has ended the current season of The Bachelorette. Season 22 was scheduled to begin airing Sunday on ABC.
"In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time," the statement credited to a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson read. "Our focus is on supporting the family."
TMZ posted a video Thursday from 2023 in which Paul threw three barstools at her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen while their daughter was in the room. People confirmed the 2023 indictment report from her domestic abuse arrest.
A TikTok influencer, Paul was also on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives with Mortensen.
