Tinkler set for PSL return
by Ernest Fakude · KickOffFormer Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler could be on his way back to South Africa to coach one of the PSL teams in KwaZulu-Natal.
Tinkler parted ways with Asante Kotoko after spending less than a season in Ghana.
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder enjoyed a brief stay with Kotoko, where he recorded one win, two draws, and one defeat against Aduana FC this past weekend.
According to sources close to the Ghanaian side, Tinkler requested that his contract be terminated yesterday and is expected to return to South Africa before the end of this week.
He has since been linked with a position at Durban City. The KwaZulu-Natal-based outfit is currently without a coach after parting ways with Khalil Ben Youssef.

“The negotiations between Eric Tinkler and Durban City are now at an advanced stage. He is expected to bring his own technical team,” said a source.
Durban City is currently lying in 10th place in the Betway Premiership with only one win.
