Nevada Preps football predictions: Will Bishop Gorman beat Mater Dei?

The Bishop Gorman football team has seemingly done everything a high school football program can accomplish at a national level.

Except beat California power Mater Dei.

Gorman (3-1) is ranked No. 8 nationally by MaxPreps and is 0-5 all-time against No. 13 Mater Dei (4-0). The two teams meet at 7 p.m. Friday at Santa Ana Stadium in California.

If Gorman wants to keep its slim chance at a fifth mythical national title alive, the Gaels will have to beat Mater Dei.
