Baseball

– Alex Galindo, Cimarron-Memorial: The junior went 4-for-4 with a double and four runs scored as the Spartans cruised past SLAM! Nevada 16-6 in five innings.

– Jordan Goodsell, Virgin Valley: The senior hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Bulldogs over Clark 2-1.

– Jet McNelis, Green Valley: The senior hit a home run and was the winning pitcher in the Gators’ five-inning 10-0 victory over Spring Valley.

– Oliver Schoppmann, Shadow Ridge: The sophomore had two doubles and two RBIs, and the Mustangs defeated Las Vegas 12-11 with a run in the bottom of the eighth inning of a 5A Southern Region post-season play-in game.

– Taven Thaker, Cheyenne: The senior went 4-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs to help the Desert Shields beat Sunrise Mountain 13-3 in five innings.

– Ethan Wagstaff, Boulder City: The senior went 5-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs, and also was the winning pitcher in the Eagles’ four-inning 20-5 win over Laughlin.

Softball

– Evalenne Armendariz, Pahrump Valley: The junior had two home runs and six RBIs, and also was the winning pitcher in the Trojans’ six-inning 13-3 victory over SLAM! Nevada.

– Angelina Carrillo, Chaparral: The senior went 6-for-6 with a home run, two triples and nine RBIs as the Cowboys outslugged Eldorado for a 32-22 victory.

– Kayleen Enriquez, Palo Verde: The junior went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs as the Panthers rallied late for a 7-6 victory over Coronado.

– Mia Frias, Basic: The senior struck out 14 while pitching a complete-game three-hitter to lead the Wolves past Boulder City 3-1.

– Ava Henerson, Arbor View: The junior went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs, and also was the winning pitcher in the Aggies’ 6-2 victory over Centennial.

– Paityn Lewis, Las Vegas: The freshman had two home runs and four RBIs to help the Wildcats roll past Canyon Springs 15-4 in six innings.

Boys volleyball

– Ty Hardy, Basic: The senior finished with 17 kills, 16 digs and two aces in the Wolves’ 11-25, 25-20, 25-20, 28-26 loss to Coronado.

– Kaleb Law, Mojave: The senior had 21 kills and 12 digs as the Rattlers beat Sunrise Mountain 26-24, 25-22, 26-24.

– Brad Rappleye, Sky Pointe: The junior posted 21 kills and 10 blocks to lead the Eagles to a 22-25, 25-17, 25-17, 33-31 win over Cimarron-Memorial.

– Michael Weinand, Bonanza: The senior racked up 15 kills, 12 digs and six aces as the Bengals defeated Amplus Academy in four sets.

– Matthew Yaqubi, Desert Oasis: The senior had 16 assists to help the Diamondbacks beat Durango 25-12, 25-9, 25-10.
