Report: Golden Knights bringing back a familiar face
by Danny Webster / Las Vegas Review-Journal · Las Vegas Review-JournalThe Vegas Golden Knights appear to be bringing back a familiar face to replace Pavel Dorofeyev.
Right wing Victor Olofsson is returning to the team after spending last year in Calgary, according to TSN.
The 30-year-old sniper played 56 games with the Knights in 2024-25, scoring 15 goals and 29 points, on a one-year deal he signed in July 2024.
Olofsson joined the Colorado Avalanche on a one-year deal. He was part of the return for the Calgary Flames in the blockbuster trade that brough center Nazem Kadri to Colorado in March.
The Ornskoldsvik, Sweden native becomes the needed shooter and power-play option the Knights needed after they traded Dorofeyev to the New York Rangers on Friday.
Six of Olofsson’s 15 goals with the Knights two years ago came on the power play.
