Amarillo is lucky to have the Tri-State Fair, but the thing is, it only comes around once a year in September. However, do we really want to wait for all that fair food and only eat it once per year? No! It would be nice to be able to eat fair food when the craving hits.

The End Of Corn Dog 7 Still Stings

Corn Dog 7 used to give us a taste of fair food and cheese on a stick, but unfortunately, that was one of the many Westgate Mall Food Court casualties. It closed not long after the pandemic.

Yes, you can get corn dogs at several fast food places and restaurants in town, but what about the other fair food? Cheese on a stick, twisty tators, funnel cakes?

Amarillo Doesn’t Have To Wait For Fair Food

What if there was a place where you could get all your favorite fair foods?  Well, you're in luck, there is!

Bomb City Fair Foods is a local food truck serving up some of your favorite fair foods, and opening for the season. You no longer have to wait until September to enjoy your favorites at the Tri-State Fair.

According to a recent post on their Facebook page, they're opening their food truck for the season on Friday, March 27.

• Cheese on a Stick
• Devil Dogs
• Shrimp on a Stick
• Golden Texan Ribbon Taters
• Funnel Cakes
• Caramel Apples

When And Where To Find Bomb City Fair Foods Truck

They haven't announced where they will be set up on March 27, but they said they will announce soon. We'll update as soon as they do.  They are also present at a lot of events around town, so get ready for that fair food goodness.
