Washington Huskies transfer portal tracker 2025: Who’s coming and going?

by · The Seattle Times

Technically speaking, the college football transfer portal won’t officially open until Jan. 2.

But that hasn’t stopped players from announcing their intention to transfer. Particularly at Washington, which has already completed its season following its 38-10 demolition of Boise State in the LA Bowl on Dec. 13.

As a reminder, the transfer portal will remain open until Jan. 16. There is no spring portal window after the NCAA voted to eliminate it in September, meaning this is the only time players can move between programs. There is no deadline for a player to join a new team once they enter the transfer portal.

Additionally, players must wait for a program to hire a new coach after a leadership change before they can enter the transfer portal, assuming the timeline is outside of the established portal window.

So here’s a transfer tracker to help monitor all of UW’s arrivals and departures:

But during UW’s 38-10 rout of Boise State in the LA Bowl on Saturday night, Bryant registered the first interception of his career.

Three minutes later, Bryant did it again.

2 Huskies enter transfer portal day after LA Bowl

Less than 24 hours after Washington trounced Boise State in the LA Bowl, two Huskies announced they intend to enter the transfer portal when it opens Jan. 2.

Fifth-year defensive back Dyson McCutcheon and redshirt freshman offensive lineman Davit Boyajyan announced Sunday they will depart UW in posts on their social media accounts. They become the third and fourth players to exit the program. Sophomore wide receiver Audric Harris and sophomore linebacker Deven Bryant indicated they will transfer before the bowl game.
