India opened its Asian Games 2026 medal account with a silver in the women's 10m air rifle team event on Sunday. Sonam Uttam Maskar, Elavenil Valarivan and Vidarsa Vinod finished 0.9 points ahead of hosts Japan, while China won gold after setting a new qualification world record.
