Formula 1 and FIA said the Grand Prix races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will not happen in April due to the Iran war.

FIA announce decision after reports of pulling the plug on next month’s races.

JONATHAN McEVOY: The two rounds will not be replaced meaning there will be a hiatus in the calendar through the whole of April, following the Japanese Grand Prix on March 29.

Formula One bosses are expected to call off the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Grands Prix in the next 48 hours in response to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
