Pumpkins After Dark returns to Calgary until Halloween

Pumpkins After Dark has returned to Calgary for its fourth year, promising over 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins and brand-new displays.

This year’s themes include Egyptian, Toy Story, rock and roll icons, including a tribute to the 27 Club, and more.

Event staff work year-round designing, carving and building displays, with a show taking approximately 11 months to create. Because of the time requirement for a show, much of the display is made using synthetic pumpkins created to mimic the texture and density of organic pumpkins.
