Ubisoft says they’ve entered “early stages” of Rayman project

By now, you’ve probably heard the news from Insider Gaming that Ubisoft is allegedly working on a new Rayman game. The game is apparently a remake that is in early development, and it is going by the code-name “Project Steambo”. It is also apparently where the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown team has been moved to after Ubisoft closed the studio down.

Well, a Ubisoft spokesperson has sent a statement to Kotaku that has officially confirmed the rumor. They said that “we are pleased to confirm Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan have recently started an exploration phase on the Rayman brand. The project is still in its early stages, and we will share more details later”.
