Stellar Blade on Switch 2 targeting 60ps upscaled 720p in handheld and upscaled 1080p docked

More details have emerged regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 port of Stellar Blade which will be heading to the platform later this year. Developer ShiftUp has confirmed to Nintendo Online that they are aiming for 60fps in both handheld and docked mode. The resolution that they are targeting is upscaled 720p in handheld mode and upscaled 1080p in docked mode naturally using DLSS. A new Stellar Blade gameplay video from Gamescom has also been uploaded by IGN which you can watch down below.

Technical details:

  • 60 FPS target in both handheld and docked mode
  • Upscaled 720p in handheld mode
  • Upscaled 1080p in docked mode
  • DLSS used for upscaling
  • AMD FSR 3.1 used for frame interpolation
  • No separate graphics modes
  • A day-one patch is planned for further optimization
