Azerbaijan attaches great importance to its membership of D-8, says Hikmet Hajiyev

Shusha, Azerbaijan: The Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) and Italy’s Adnkronos News Agency signed a new cooperation and news exchange agreement here on July 14 on the sidelines of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, reports Azertac News Agency.

During a meeting between Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of AZERTAC, and Claudio Chiucchiù, Director of Business Development at Adnkronos, the sides discussed the further development of bilateral cooperation.

The agreement aims to expand cooperation in news exchange, strengthen professional ties between the two agencies, and promote the implementation of joint media projects.

Under the agreement, the parties will exchange news, photo, and video materials in English, Arabic, and other mutually agreed languages free of charge through their existing technological channels. They also agreed to cooperate and exchange expertise in the field of emerging media technologies, including artificial intelligence.

The agreement further provides for the organization of joint media initiatives, including photo exhibitions, video reports, online webinars, and other projects aimed at media development. It also envisages mutual support in covering events held in Azerbaijan and Italy.

It may be remembered that Dispatch News Desk (DND) News Agency of Pakistan is already collaborating with Adnkronos News Agency since year 2025 and with AZERTAC it has collaboration since 2016.
