Dalmia Bharat Foundation empowers rural women through soft toy making program

Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of Dalmia Bharat Ltd. (DBL), in collaboration with Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETI) Bokaro, successfully conducted a 13-day soft toy making workshop at Gorabali North Panchayat Bhawan. Designed to promote self-reliance and economic empowerment, the initiative trained 35 rural women in handicraft skills under expert guidance from RSETI. Participants who successfully completed the training were awarded certificates recognizing their achievement.

The certificate distribution ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including chief guest Sunil Kumar K Bhusari, unit head, DCBL Bokaro; Suman Prabhat Ekka, director, RSETI Bokaro; and Baleswar Singh Rathore, mukhiya of Gorabali North Panchayat. Members of Pragati Club, DCBL Bokaro, also extended their support to the beneficiaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Kumar K Bhusari emphasized Dalmia Bharat’s commitment to empowering rural communities through skill-based training that fosters self-employment and financial independence. He highlighted how small-scale entrepreneurship enables women to turn creativity into income, opening new opportunities for growth.
