by Dolly Busby Showbiz Correspondent · Mail OnlineAlex Scott has revealed she snuck salt from a service station on the drive to the Jungle into her socks and named who else knew she was putting it in the food for a week.
The former Lioness, 41, was the first campmate to be evicted from this year's series on Friday night.
Speaking to the Daily Mail about 'saltgate' in which she was punished for bring contraband into the camp in the form of a salt packet, she revealed others new about it.
The Football Focus presenter said: 'We didn't have luxury items this year so on the way in, I stopped and got a chicken salad, how boring.
'And then there was all these sachets of salt and pepper, so I was like, "Let me just pick up a few, and see if I can manage to get them in camp."
'And I put them down my sock on the coming in day and managed to get it in.'
She revealed that Jack Osbourne, 41, knew about the salt right away because he was on cooking duty and she would pass it to him on a spoon.
Then social media sensation and favourite to win Angry Ginge, 24, she recalled 'saw me one night and kept giving me the eye'.
On her final day in camp she slipped Emmerdale actress, Lisa Riley, the empty packet and she started screaming in the dunny when she saw what it was.
Alex was caught sneaking the salt into the camps' dinner and the next day the entire group were punished and an amnesty box was placed into camp.
This saw Shona McGarty, 34, come forward with air freshener which, it can be revealed, she snuck in her waistband after a trial and kept in the dunny - the slang word for toilet.
Alex said: 'Shona and I just looked at each other straight away. We were like, "We have to confess", me and Shona tell each other everything.
'So straightway, when we were doing a trial, she'd come back and she was like, "I managed to get this air freshener for the dunny".
'But then he's like weird because me and Shona obviously knew, but it's like, no one saw it in the dunny.. like it was blatantly there.
'But I suppose if you're an autopilot just rushing into the dunny, I think Kelly went in one day and she was like, "Oh my God, the dunny smells so fresh".'
