Ryanair launches huge seat sale with £15 flights for winter sun

Thankfully, Ryanair has launched its biggest-ever seat sale with more than 10 million summer 2026 seats on offer at big discounts for early bookers.
And it's good news for those looking to take some annual leave in January, as we've found flights from multiple UK airports to Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife in Spain's Canary Islands for less than £25 - with some as low as £15!
If you're looking to escape the UK's below-zero weather in the coming weeks, January in the Canary Islands offers a warm winter escape with temperatures of around 18 to 21C.
Rain is rare, especially in the south, making it great for exploring volcanic landscapes and beaches.
On the Ryanair website, there is an afternoon flight from Manchester Airport to Tenerife South for just £15 on January 27.
The flight takes just over four and a half hours, meaning you could be checked in, unpacked and sipping on sangrias over dinner without having to set an early alarm.
For holidaymakers across the rest of the UK, there are plenty of flights from London airports and regional bases to the Canaries for less than £25.
Tenerife ranked within the top five in a recent ranking of the best destinations for low-cost winter sun this January.
There is also no shortage of things to do, from exploring Teide National Park to whale watching and seeing monkeys up close at one of the many zoos.
Off-season holidays can mean fewer crowds and cheaper accommodation.
According to Skyscanner, the average price of a hotel in Tenerife in January is £154 per night, which is around 24 per cent lower than the rest of the year.
Elsewhere in Spain, there are plenty of dates in February and March when you can fly to Alicante from Gatwick for just £24.99, with return tickets less than £50.
