Metaphor: ReFantazio just got a must-have 4K Texture Pack

Metaphor: ReFantazio fans, here is something for you today. Modder ‘1vierrock’ has released a must-have 4K Texture Pack for this latest turn-based RPG.

The vanilla version of Metaphor: ReFantazio used some truly awful textures. That was a shame because the game’s art style is amazing. And, thanks to this 4K Texture Pack, you will be able to enjoy the game on the PC.

From what I can see, the modder has used AI tools to upscale the original textures. As such, the new modded ones retain the art style of the game. They also look way sharper than the original textures. So, this is a no-brainer. If you’re playing this RPG, you need to use this 4K Texture Pack.

You can download it from this link. To install it, you’ll simply have to extract all of its content to the folder that contains its executable file. And that will be it.

Below you can also find some comparison screenshots. These will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from this 4K Texture Pack. The vanilla textures are on the left, whereas the modded textures are on the right.

As you can see, you don’t even have to zoom in to see the improvements. I really can’t believe how bad the vanilla textures look. I mean, you’d expect these textures in a PS3 game. Not in a game for modern platforms.

For those wondering, SEGA has not removed Denuvo from it. I’m mentioning this because the game has already been cracked. So, it’s a bummer that the legitimate owners have to deal with it. Perhaps SEGA will remove it in a year or so? If not, pirates will be enjoying a superior version.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
