by · DSOGaming

Pearl Abyss has released Title Update 2.04.00 for Crimson Desert Enhanced and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new patch brings to the table.

Patch 2.04.00 adds a huge amount of new content to Crimson Desert. You can now explore the seas, dive underwater, build your own home, and manage shops. You can also take on new quests, meet new foes, and build closer ties with the people of Pywel.

The patch adds new quests for Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane. Each hero gets a quest of their own. You can start these quests from the Journal after you finish the main story quest “Journey’s End.”

You can also take your ship out to sea. New islands await, along with sunken ruins, hidden loot, and other secrets. You can dive underwater and find new places to explore. Your breath will run out over time, but you can stay below for longer by upgrading your diving suit. Food can also help you hold your breath. You can even use the A.T.A.G. underwater with the right gear.

Ships are now a new type of mount. You can build or buy one, then add new parts to make it your own. You can also use ships to trade goods at sea. The patch adds new underwater mounts, too. You can tame some of them and earn their trust before adding them to your mounts. New islands and treasure maps give you even more places to explore.

There are also more ways to build a life in Pywel. The housing system now lets you design your own home. You can place walls, windows, and other parts as you like. You can even decorate two castles. The patch also lets you rent and run shops in freed strongholds. These include food shops, sawmills, smithies, and tailor shops. They keep working even when you are away, and special guests may stop by.

You can also hold festivals at your camp. People who trust you may come to visit. You can talk with them and build trust faster. Some guests can even join the Greymanes as honorary members. The patch also adds a new level of trust with NPCs. You can flirt, give gifts, and chat with them. Once trust is high enough, you can ask some NPCs to marry you. You can then live together, travel as a pair, and get gifts from your spouse. You can also change their look at a barber shop. If you change your mind, you can end the marriage, but it will cost you.

The update adds 17 new homes, a new dice game, and more ways to change your camp and home. You can also change the Greymanes’ outfits at the camp dispatch tent. New items let you use life skills in combat, such as pans, lids, and kitchen knives. There are also new items for your home, wagons, and pets.

For players who want a new test, the patch adds the Garden of Trials. It has 10 groups of fights and can be played alone or with up to three heroes. You can choose who fights first. If one hero falls, the next one takes their place. You cannot use food to heal during these fights. Beat each group to improve one of your skills. The update also adds new gear, strong bosses, and a way to fight some bosses again.

There is plenty more to find. You can trade relics with a new NPC, collect three new rare bugs, and visit barber shops in major towns. The patch also adds new books to help you learn what people like. You can now chat and give gifts through a better NPC menu. A new bug storage box makes it easier to keep your finds safe.

Patch 2.04.00 also brings many fixes and changes. It improves combat moves, map icons, trade routes, and mount markers. You can now zoom out farther on the map. The game also lets you pick upscaling and frame generation as two separate options. This means you can mix tech from different brands, such as DLSS upscaling with FSR frame generation.

The patch fixes a wide range of bugs, too. These include issues with items, quests, combat, menus, and graphics. It also improves the game’s text in all supported languages.

As always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Those interested can also find its full patch notes here!
