Grand Theft Auto 4 Fusion Fix Mod Version 5.1.0 Released
by John Papadopoulos · DSOGamingThe modding team behind one of the best mods for Grand Theft Auto 4, Fusion Fix, has released a new version of it. So, let’s see what Update 5.1.0 brings to the table.
For those who did not know, Fusion Fix is a comprehensive open-source mod that aims to fix a wide range of technical issues, bugs, and limitations in the game that were left unaddressed in official updates. Right now, this is one of the best mods for GTA 4.
GTA 4 FusionFix v5.1.0 adds many new options, fixes, and improvements. The update brings a new Console Gamma system. It also adds PS3 Gamma as an option. This can help bring the game’s colors closer to the console versions.
The update adds Quick Save to the in-game phone. You can now save your game almost anywhere. It also fixes issues with shops, taxi rides, preachers, vendors, and game time.
There are new camera and control options, too. You can turn off the slow-motion camera during Stunt Jumps. You can also disable the camera when climbing fences or stealing cars. A new Auto Climb Ladders option makes ladder use easier.
The update also adds new ragdoll options. You can press R while jumping to ragdoll, with an option to use it while climbing. You can also make parked cars turn on their brake lights.
Many fixes improve high frame rate play. These include water effects, water physics, weapon aiming, helicopter rotors, loading screens, and camera effects. The update also fixes several memory and camera issues.
Finally, FusionFix 5.1.0 improves vehicle models, fixes searchlight positions, restores radio audio in Roman’s cab depot, and adds more small fixes and code changes.

Speaking of GTA 4, there are some awesome mods you’ve got to check out. First off, there’s one that restores the multiplayer mode – a must-have for sure. Then, there’s a cool mod that adds cars from 1950-1993 and a mod that brings New York City to the game. You can also get these mods that add an 8K Map and improve the Euphoria ragdolls. There’s also a mod that gives the main characters a total makeover, as well as a mod that adds native support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR.
Finally, owners of high-end NVIDIA GPUs can download this RTX Remix Mod. This mod adds real-time Path Tracing to the game. Furthermore, this RTX Remix Mod is compatible with the Fusion Fix Mod. So, by using these two mods, you can essentially get a remastered version of Grand Theft Auto IV for free.
Have fun!
