Bloodborne Just Got High-Quality Skyboxes & Clouds

by · DSOGaming

Modder ‘johnnycoax’ has released a pretty cool mod for Bloodborne that everyone should use. This mod adds to the game high-quality skyboxes and clouds. As such, the game can now look better and crisper than before.

Going into more details, this mod improves the sky and clouds by making them much clearer. It removes ugly grain and noise that are easy to see during the day. Almost all sky and moving cloud textures are upgraded to 8 times their original quality. The changes are easiest to see in 4K, but even at 1080p the sky can look cleaner and smoother.

It’s also worth noting that this mod includes Arc Ray’s Moon Fix Mod. The Moon Fix Mod removes the ugly-looking moon in the Hunter’s Dream. As such, you won’t have to download it separately.

Those interested can download these new skyboxes and clouds from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find a couple of comparisons. These will give you an idea of what you can expect from this new mod. On the left, we have the vanilla version. On the right, we have the modded version.

Speaking of Bloodborne, here are a couple of other mods you can try. And yes, alongside this latest one, you can use all of them with shadPS4.

The first mod is Bloodborne Magnus Opus. Bloodborne Magnus Opus is a project that aims to restore content that was cut from the game. Then we have a first-person mod. By using it, you can play Bloodborne in first-person mode. This is a cool way to replay the game if you have already finished it.

Finally, you can download the Bloodborne Remaster Mod. This mod adds dynamic shadows throughout the entire game. It also improves how far shadows can be seen and makes them look better. The mod adds more ambient lighting by changing the game’s settings. It also improves texture quality, so objects look clearer. On top of that, it adds realistic lighting for things like street lamps, wall lamps, candles, and torches.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
