Batman: Arkham Knight, Quantum Break and Watch Dogs will soon get DLSS/FSR Mods

by · DSOGaming

Modder ‘Filippo Tarpini’ has announced that he’s currently working on mods that will add DLSS/FSR to Batman: Arkham Knight, Quantum Break, and Watch Dogs. Thanks to these mods, you will be able to make these games run faster and minimize their aliasing issues.

These DLSS/FSR Mods will be part of the Luma Framework project. For those who did not know, Luma is a modding framework that facilitates improving graphics in DX11 games. It leverages the ReShade Addon system to add or modify rendering passes (and replace shaders (e.g. post processing)) through DirectX hooks.

Luma Framework can add modern graphical features to DX11 games that did not support them. For instance, it can add support for HDR, GTAO, and Bloom. It can also add support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR.

In February 2026, Tarpini released a DLSS/FSR Mod for Just Cause 3. That mod also fixed some other issues that plagued this game, like a bug that prevented users from using 16xAF. Not only that, but it added support for HDR.

Tarpini has shared a comparison between DLSS Off (left) and DLSS On (right) in Watch Dogs. However, this comparison feels like a mixed bag. Yes, DLSS can reduce the aliasing Watch Dogs has. However, the DLSS image also looks significantly blurrier. It looks worse than the native shot, at least in my opinion. The good news is that the mod is still in WIP. So, here is hoping that the modder will be able to adjust DLSS to make it look as crisp as native res.

There is currently no ETA for when these mods will come out. Naturally, though, I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Speaking of Batman: Arkham Knight, I highly recommend downloading this HD Texture Pack for it. Even to this day, Batman: Arkham Knight can look amazing. The only thing that can look quite bad in the vanilla version is the game’s low-quality textures. And that’s where this HD Texture Pack comes in. By using it, you can get a crisp and high-quality image. This is a must-have mod for everyone who wants to replay it.

If you own the previous Batman Arkham games, I highly recommend downloading the following mods for them. Created by GPUnity, these mods will greatly enhance their graphics. Thus, they are a must for everyone who wants to replay them.

Let’s start with the mod for Batman: Arkham Asylum. This one is a 4K Texture Pack that upgrades all the textures in the game.

Next, we have Batman: Arkham City Redux. This mod includes over 1,000 improved textures that have been upscaled, cleaned up, and polished by hand. It also fully supports DirectX 11 and is easy to install with just one setup.

Lastly, there’s a graphics mod for Batman: Arkham Origins. It improves how snow changes when you walk through it, makes shadows look better, and gives you more control over the field of view (FOV).

As for Watch Dogs, we have two mods to choose from. The first one is called Nextgen Graphics Overhaul 2 mod. This mod recreated the E3 2012 gas station explosion. Moreover, it brought numerous improvements to the game’s graphics.

The second is basically a modlist that has some of the most famous ones you can find. Among other mods, it includes the Source Textures Collection, The Fall of Windy City, and the Living City. You can get it from here.

Stay tuned for more!
