First 4 Hours of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Leaked Online

by · DSOGaming

YouTube’s ‘Skill Games’ has released a video, leaking the first 4 hours of gameplay from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. So, if you’ve been looking forward to this remake, you should definitely check it out.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will use the latest version of the Anvil Engine. The game will support Dolby Atmos and ray tracing. From what has been shared so far, the ray-tracing effects will be similar to those seen in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows.

Ubisoft has rebuilt the combat system to make battles feel faster and more dynamic. The new system puts a greater focus on parries and takedowns. Stealth and parkour have also been improved, making movement and escapes feel smoother.

Players will be able to upgrade the Jackdaw throughout the game. New naval mechanics and alternate fire modes will help you take on stronger enemy ships.

The remake also adds many quality-of-life improvements to make the overall experience smoother and more enjoyable.

In addition, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will include new story content. Familiar characters such as Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet will return with new storylines. Three new officers will also join your crew as part of the main story.

Players will be able to dive underwater almost anywhere in the game. You can also use your rope to pull enemies toward you during stealth attacks. Another new feature lets you throw coins to distract guards. Together with the improved parkour and combat systems, these changes aim to make the remake feel more modern while staying true to the original.

As said, this video shows the first 4 hours. Thus, it can give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it. This gameplay footage was captured on a PS5 Pro.

From the looks of it, this gameplay footage is from a review code. We do know that Ubisoft has already sent them and that the game’s review embargo will be lifted on July 8. Therefore, you should watch the video while it’s still available. Since the YouTuber broke the review embargo, Ubisoft may take the video down.

For what it’s worth, we’ve requested a PC review code but have not heard back from Ubisoft. Since the review embargo lifts on July 8, I’m almost certain that Ubisoft has blacklisted us. That, or they might send us a review code on launch day, just so that they can delay our coverage. Guess Ubi was not happy about our Assassin’s Creed: Shadows coverage.

To be honest, this will not really “affect” us in any negative way. As we do in such situations, we’ll purchase the game when it comes out, and we’ll share our initial PC tech impressions on launch day.

Anyway, Ubisoft will release Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on July 9th. You can also find its official PC system requirements here.

Stay tuned for more!
