by John Papadopoulos · DSOGamingKOEI Tecmo has announced that Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will be released on March 4th, 2027. Moreover, the publisher has shared a public alpha PC demo, as well as its preliminary PC requirements.
In this long-awaited sequel to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, players must master the evolved Chinese martial arts and conquer battlefields of the Three Kingdoms overrun by monstrous demons alongside renowned heroes who left their mark on history.
In Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, players can enjoy an improved combat system. Well-timed deflects let you block and counter enemy attacks. You can also switch between fast offense and defense while using a wide range of weapons. Combat will be even more exciting with powerful Insight Skills. These skills will let you dodge attacks, use the terrain to launch counterattacks, and turn the fight around when you are outnumbered.
You will be able to freely explore new areas, from forts carved into mountains to enemy bases hidden in deep valleys. Some of these places can only be reached through three-dimensional movement. Moreover, you will need to raise your Morale by taking on strong foes. You can recruit enemy officers to weaken their forces, and you can also use different tactics on the battlefield to turn the tide of battle.
To run the PC demo, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5 10600K or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX 5700XT. With this PC setup, you can run it at 1080p/30FPS on Best Performance Mode with upscaling.
