The Blood of Dawnwalker Hotfix Patch 1.0.4 Released & Detailed
by John Papadopoulos · DSOGamingRebel Wolves has released Hotfix 1.0.4 for The Blood of Dawnwalker and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new Hotfix brings to the table.
Hotfix 1.0.4 brings multiple improvements to the game’s stability. As such, The Blood of Dawnwalker should be more stable on your PC system. Sadly, though, it does not fix the camera stuttering issues I’ve reported.
The devs have said that these camera stutters should not occur in Full Screen mode. However, I’ve captured a video that showcases these camera stutters in all display modes, including Full Screen Mode. At the end of the article, you can find that video.
Anyway, Hotfix 1.0.4 also comes with some gameplay fixes. For instance, it fixes issues that caused Coen to get stuck inside certain houses with no way of getting out. It also fixes an issue that disabled blocking under certain circumstances. Dead NPCs can no longer start dialogues. Plus, the Hotfix fixes an issue that blocked players from saving the game.
Before closing, I should note that there are a couple of PC-only fixes. To be more precise, connecting controllers with the outdated GameInput software should no longer cause FPS drops on PC. Moreover, the Hotfix fixes issues with VSync when using FSR Frame Generation. It also fixes an issue that prevented Quality preset mods from applying properly.
As always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its full release notes.
