MUDANG: Two Hearts Is Dead as EVR Studio Has Filed for Bankruptcy

by · DSOGaming

MUDANG: Two Hearts was a game I was really looking forward to as it had major influences from Splinter Cell. Sadly, though, we may never get the chance to play it as its developer, EVR Studio, has filed for bankruptcy.

MUDANG: Two Hearts was a third-person action-adventure game with a strong story. It aimed to mix stealth, combat, and movie-like scenes to create a deep and emotional experience. The game would take place in a broken future version of Korea. It would feature smooth character animations, smart enemies, 3D sound, and levels you could explore in different ways, all working together to tell a powerful story.

MUDANG: Two Hearts would let you play the way you want. You could sneak around, fight up close, or go in with full force. There would be many paths and high spots to use. For example, you could hide in the dark, climb pipes, crawl through vents, scale buildings, or break parts of the world to surprise enemies. The game would also have special moves using the environment, lots of hand-to-hand combat moves, and cool gadgets to help you in battle.

It’s also worth noting that it aimed to have smart enemies that react to what you do. If you stayed hidden, they would look for you by checking things like knocked-out teammates, broken lights, or strange sounds. If something seemed wrong, they would sound the alarm. During fights, they would work together to try to surround and outsmart you.

On June 5, 2026, the 11th Division of the Seoul Bankruptcy Court declared EVR Studio bankrupt. In short, the studio is closed, and the game has been discontinued.

EVR Studio was listed on Steam as the publisher for MUDANG: Two Hearts. So, it’s safe to say that the game is dead, and that we’ll never get a chance to play it.

This sucks, as this could have been the next “Splinter Cell”. The remake of Splinter Cell is MIA, so MUDANG: Two Hearts could have been a hit. Its early gameplay dev videos also looked promising. Alas, the game will never see the light of day!
