Sutton Foster Growing SICK Of Hugh Jackman For THIS Unexpected Reason!

Uh oh! There’s tension brewing between Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster — but this time, it has nothing to do with another woman!

As Perezcious readers know, ever since getting together, Hugh and Sutton’s romance has been under a bright, hot spotlight. First, there were all the cheating allegations and divorce drama, and then Hugh started to turn heads with his “flirty” co-star Kate Hudson. Despite the controversy, Sutton and Hugh have stuck by each other. But is the honeymoon bliss finally fading for good?

Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack got new intel on Wednesday, and it doesn’t paint a pleasant picture! According to sources close to the couple, Sutton’s getting super frustrated with the unexpected dynamics of their relationship, one source explained:

“Hugh wants a mommy, not a girlfriend. He needs constant validation, nonstop reassurance, and someone shielding him from conflict while he keeps playing the golden boy.”

Oof!

Apparently, Hugh’s first wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, did a lot behind the scenes to protect The Wolverine star from criticism, confrontation, and any kind of emotional baggage! But the Younger actress wants no part in this! Another insider dished:

“Sutton is ambitious, independent, and emotionally intelligent. She didn’t sign up to become Hugh’s full-time emotional support system. The deeper this relationship gets, the more she feels responsible for managing his feelings, his image, and the chaos surrounding him.”

It doesn’t help that scrutiny of their relationship has only gotten worse as time’s gone on, especially after Deb got candid about how betrayed and heartbroken she was by the romance!

Another insider shared:

“Hugh desperately needs everyone to love him. He avoids uncomfortable situations at all costs and expects Sutton to absorb the emotional fallout so he can remain the nice guy.”

That’s a lot of pressure on his partner! And it could be a major dealbreaker for Sutton, another confidant said:

“Sutton thought she was getting a partner. What she’s discovering is a man who still needs parenting.”

Ouch!

This sounds messy! Hopefully, they can work through this. It’d be wild to see their romance fizzle over this after everything they’ve faced since getting together!
