The Wiggles Bring Greek Language and Culture to St George College

St George College was filled with excitement when The Wiggles’ Lucia and Anthony visited as part of a collaboration with the South Australian Hellenic Studies Foundation.
The visit marked the release of The Wiggles’ new music video “Spanakopita,” as well as Learning Greek with Lucia, which features St George College students learning Greek and performing Greek dancing.
Students were delighted to meet Lucia and Anthony, who spent time with junior classes playing games, singing and dancing. Children joined in the songs and dance and watched The Wiggles perform live at the school.
The day was a celebration of Greek language and culture, bringing together music, dancing and learning. It was a memorable visit for the students and a special chance for St George College to take part in The Wiggles’ Greek language project.
